Jianhong Xu received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. at Tsinghua University in 2002 and 2007 respectively. He continued his research in Tsinghua University as a postdoctor after graduation. He had studied as a visiting scholar at Prof. David Weitz lab in Harvard University during 2012.7- 2013.6. At present, his research areas are focusing on the microstructured chemical system, multiphase microfluidic technology and functional materials synthesis. He has more than 100 peer-reviewed publications. He got the Excellent Young Scientists Fund from the National Natural Science Foundation of China NSFC in 2013. In 2016, he was awarded as Young Scholar of Chang Jiang Scholars Program of China of MOE.

Vincent Marichez is the CEO of Qfluidics, a startup in microfluidics developing a “liquid-tube” technology initially born in the laboratories of the university of Strasbourg, France. He first graduated in 2013 from ECPM (Ecole de Chimie, Polymères et Matériaux de Strasbourg, France) where he studied Chemical Engineering and Chemistry. He then joined the laboratory of non-equilibrium complex systems for a PhD under the supervision of Prof. Thomas M. Hermans where he studied mechanical chiral resolution (using shear flows) and dissipative supramolecular self-assembly at ISIS (Institut de Science et d’Ingénierie Supramoléculaire de Strasbourg). His PhD was immediately followed by a Post-Doc in 2018 in the same laboratory where he could assist the early development of the very first liquid tube which led 1 year after to the creation of Qfluidics in January 2019.

Elsayed Ahmed Elnashar , Full-Professor of textiles Apparel, Kaferelsheikh University, Egypt. Born in 19 /8/1965. Have Ph.D. 2000, Msc.1995, Bsc.1989, Helwan University. Diploma1985advanced industrial textiles institute. He holds several academic administrative positions: Dean, Vice Dean, Head of Department, He has many textiles patents, Member of international scientific committees. Development of Faculties of Education, commissioned of Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities. Has design books published in Germany and Ukraine. Has published over 185 scientific Articles. Editorial board member & Reviewer for more 85 journals, organizer for more than 30 conference and workshop over the world, Founder and editor two scientific journals. And Smartex Conference Egypt. Member of the editorial board of several international journals and conferences, He has made many scientific agreements with European &Africa universities

His main research fields of interests are Laser-Jet Technology On Weaving Machine, Antimicrobial Throw Volume Porosity, Membrane Technology for Filtration, Solar textiles (SOLATEX) of composite fabrics structures as alternative energy, Functional Nano biodegradable, Computational Mathematics, Fluid Mechanics, Composites fabrics structures etc.

Dr. Xuan is currently an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University.He received his PhD degree from the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at University of Toronto in 2006, and Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Department of Engineering ThermoPhysics at University of Science and Technology of China in 1995. He was a recipient of NSF CAREER award in 2012.

His research interests cover the fundamentals and applications of microfluidics with special interest in particle and cell manipulations via either externally imposed (e.g., electric field and magnetic field) or internally induced (e.g., inertial lift and/or elastic lift in Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluid flows) force fields.

Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and he has already been working as professor. He published over 50 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 100 conferences and symposia in international and national level as participant, invited speaker or keynote speaker with contributions. He served the program chair or conference chair/co-chair in some of these activities.
